Summary:
James Construction expedited this Fast-Track Design-Build Project from initial programming and land acquisition to completion in less than twelve months. The brand new facility includes a four-bay Fire Station with Equipment/ Air Room and Turnout Room and a three-bay EMS facility with Clean Room, Report Room and EMS lounge. The facility also houses offices, work areas, bathrooms, showers, kitchen and meeting room.
The accelerated schedule meant construction had to begin before design work was completed. James Construction, Carnegie Volunteer Fire and Rescue Bureau and the Architectural and Engineering team worked closely to complete the design within budget.
James Construction brought the project to successful completion on time and within budget.
