James Construction replaced the refrigeration system at Ney Hall Galley, in Building 292, Naval Station Newport. This facility provides meal service to over 3,000 people daily and remained fully operational throughout construction.

Coolers and freezers remained fully stocked and in use, requiring that the old refrigeration system remain in place until the new system was up and running. Work was done in phases and included replacement of all cooler and freezer doors, upgrade and replacement of refrigeration equipment, and related painting, plastering and repair work.

James Construction worked closely with the Navy and kitchen staff to ensure that daily operations were not interrupted. The project was completed on time and within budget.
