James Construction renovated the chapel and ancillary areas on the first floor of the VA Medical Center, Syracuse. The project involved extensive custom built-in oak casework and wood trim in the chapel creating a warm, quiet respite in the busy first floor hospital environment.

Fit-out included asbestos abatement, gypsum partitions, carpet and vinyl floor tiles, acoustical ceiling tiles, updated corian, oak and ceramic finishes, doors, windows, all mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, and installation of a wireless AV system.

James Construction completed the project ahead of schedule and within budget. The client commended our staff on a “job well done”, and our supervisor as not only “very skilled in the construction trades, he also shows remarkable customer service skills.”
