James Construction modernized and upgraded three 8-stop passenger elevators in the Huntington Federal Building. Work was performed one elevator at a time to minimize service disruption.

The three elevator cabs were completely renovated with new wall and ceiling panels, LED lights and service panels. New rope grippers, cables, deflector sheaves, governors, buffers and toe guards were installed. Fire & safety maintenance work was also performed.

A new energy-efficient regenerative Quattro-DC Elevator Drive was installed and special software was developed to integrate the new drive and control system. James Construction worked closely with all parties to ensure system functionality and smooth operation.
