James Construction replaced four air handling units in this federal facility secured with top secret clearances only. The NGA provided security escorts throughout the facility during the entire construction period.

The building remained in full operation during installation, requiring work to be performed in phases using around-the-clock shifts over multiple weekends. Units had to be removed and replaced in a single weekend and back in service for the work week. Work included the replacement of the air handling units, valves, piping, ducting, electrical and other required components.

James Construction worked closely with the NGA to coordinate both security and phasing schedules to complete the job successfully.
