James Construction completed a 7,000 sq. ft. medical facility fit out of a commercial space in the former South Hills High School. Work was performed while the upper stories were occupied by Senior Housing, presenting unique work restrictions related to working hours and utility modifications.
The retrofit space was designed and constructed to meet LEED, Passive House and Energy Star standards. The project was funded by a grant provided to the Sto-Rox Neighborhood Health Council,Inc., a non-profit organization.
James Construction provided Value Engineering options to the client to bring the project within budget while still meeting the requirements of the grant. The project was completed on time and within budget.
