James Construction renovated 23,000 sq. ft. of office space in this high security facility which remained in full use during renovation.  Work was executed in two phases during evening hours to minimize occupant disruptions.  The NGA provided security escorts throughout the facility during construction.

Work included construction of new walls and ceilings, HVAC renovations, new sound-rated door systems and new raised access flooring.  Workstations were upgraded with new Steelcase system furniture, additional electric receptacles and a new Lutron dimming system to control various types of dimming and controls throughout the office space.

James Construction completed the project on budget and ahead of schedule even with the tight security restrictions and time constraints.

The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency restricted the use of sensitive photos.
