James Construction built a 1,000 square foot addition to Building 1173 Dental Clinic at Naval Station Newport.  The masonry and structural steel building is designed to resist possible terrorist attack as well as hurricane-force winds.  This is an active naval base and the clinic remained in full operation throughout construction.

James Construction performed all work including masonry, structural steel, trusses, finish carpentry, damp proofing, fireproofing, roofing, doors, aluminum store front, gypsum board system, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, painting, specialties, toilet accessories, fire alarm system, wet sprinklers, mechanical plumbing and electrical work and new dental casework.

James Construction was also responsible for all site preparation and landscaping for this project.
