James Construction erected a new hazardous waste storage facility on an existing asphalt lot at the 911th Airlift Wing for the purpose of storing hazardous waste materials on base.

The new facility employs conventional structural design in keeping with the design of other buildings on the air base.  Dewatering techniques were implemented in the construction of the foundation.  Explosion-proof construction materials, a dry chemical fire protection system and other safety features were utilized to meet or exceed all guidelines for the storage of hazardous waste materials.

James Construction completed this project on time, within budget, and with no change orders.
