James Construction erected this new Crew Readiness Facility in an open field within the 171st Air Refueling Wing Base Security area.  Security was of major concern because the new building is located within 200 feet of the runway ramps.

The 3,000 square foot facility includes a Crew Briefing and SOF Office, Crew Lounge, four Bedrooms, Kitchen, Janitor/Laundry Room and Rest Rooms.  The facility is equipped with an emergency generator and is intended to be self-sustaining in the event of an emergency.  A new second security fence was installed around the building.

James Construction completed this six-month project on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved. The final contract including change orders was less than 2% of the original contract.
